At some point you will realize that you have done too much for someone, that the only next possible step to do is to stop.
Leave them alone. Walk away.
It’s not like you’re giving up, and it’s not like you shouldn’t try.
It’s just that you have to draw the line of determination from desperation.
What is truly yours will eventually be yours, and what is not, no matter how hard you try, will never be.
Treat your kid like a darling for the first five years.
For the next five years, scold them.
By the time they turn sixteen, treat them like a friend.
Your grown up children are your best friends.
Never make friends with people who are above or below you in status.
Such friendships will never give you any happiness.
There comes a point in your life when you realize:
Who really matters,
Who never did,
and who always will.
I've learned that people will forget
what you SAID ,
people will forget
what you DID,
but people will NEVER forget
how you made them FEEL.
The saddest thing about BETRAYAL is that it never comes from your ENEMIES.
It comes from FRIENDS and LOVED ones.
There is some self-interest behind every friendship.
There is no friendship without self-interests.
This is a BITTER TRUTH .
No one loses anyone, because no one owns anyone.
That is the true experience of freedom: having the most important thing in the world without owning it .
Don't trust too much
Don't love too much
Don't hope too much
Because that "too much" can hurt you so much .
